Project 7 was the last project of the study. During this project we collaborated with the big and great company Océ/Canon. The subject of the project was, what can Océ be 2.5D printing in the year 2025 and design a product for that. Our philosophy was to think about a product that would open a new world of interacting with a product. After doing some brainstorm sessions and concept thinking, the idea of feeling the impossible world was born. To scan 3D scan a tiny insect on a really high level, so the structures of the skin can be enlarged. By that, the structures and reliëf can be enlarged that much, that the 2.5D printer can add depth to it and print tthe insect skin. This concept makes it possible for human to see and feel things we are normally not able to perceive.

We, just like 3 of the 11 other groups, were selected to give a presentation at the R & D department of Océ. From these 4 groups we have been chosen as the winner by the Océ employee.

For this project we used a photo of Levon Biss to explain our vision of this concept to school and the designers of Océ / Canon.
